Communicating with Families and Involving Families in the Assessment Process

4.E.01

Families have ongoing opportunities to share the results of observations from home to contribute to the assessment process.

Twice a year parent/teacher conferences take place. During the conference we discuss the children's progress and set future goals. Many face-to-face conversations happen during the week, parents can also email or call the classroom. The classroom blog is also a great place for parents to see their child's progress.
